Karangu Muraya and his first wife, Triza Njeri, appear to be working towards mending their strained relationship, however, one thing remains clear: Triza is not ready to embrace polygamy.

Despite recent gestures from Karangu, including gifting her a brand new Nissan X-Trail, Triza has remained adamant that she does not recognise Carol Kim, Karangu’s second wife, as part of her family.

The drama began after a fan, Ruth Kemuma, took to Triza's comment section with what seemed like a cheeky observation about her reunion with Karangu.

“Kumbe ulikubali co-wife,” she wrote, implying that Triza had finally accepted Carol Kim.

As always, Triza wasted no time in shutting the claim down.

“Nani co-wife? Mimi simjui,” she responded curtly, making it clear that she does not acknowledge Carol Kim’s place in her marriage.

Doubling down on her stance, Triza issued yet another commanding reply that had fans buzzing.

“Mimi nataka tu gari, bwana achukue tu,” signalling that she was more interested in the material gesture than sharing her man.

On the same day, but in a different post, Carol Kim also shut down a nosy fan who implied she was sharing her husband with Triza.

She corrected them, firmly asserting that Karangu belongs to her alone, a statement that has now led netizens to speculate that the two women might soon find themselves in a full-blown rivalry over their man.

Triza had previously made it known that any reconciliation with Karangu would only be possible if he cut ties with Carol altogether.

For months, the Murayas have played out their family drama publicly, giving netizens an unexpected dose of reality TV through social media posts and interviews.

The saga dates back to February when Triza accused Karangu of abandoning her and their children in favour of Carol.

At the time, Triza left their matrimonial home and even demanded a divorce.

Their communication ceased for weeks, until late April, when the two surprised fans by appearing side-by-side at Triza’s album launch.

Their warm interaction sparked speculation that they were back on good terms.

Carol quickly hit back, implying that Karangu had actually stayed at home.

Earlier, Carol had also defended herself when Triza accused her of insulting her, firmly stating that she did not know Triza and had never spoken to her.
