1902: Meredith Willson, one of the musical score composers for the season four serial UNDERSEA KINGDOM. He also composed the physical fitness song “Chicken Fat,” which Tom Servo sang in a host segment in episode 523- VILLAGE OF THE GIANTS. Filthy versions of two of the songs he wrote for the musical “The Music Man,” “76 Trombones” and “Pickalittle (Talk-a-Little),” were sung by Digger Smolken in a host segment in episode 806- THE UNDEAD.

1996: Episode 706- LASERBLAST first shown, followed by the TV premiere of Joel Hodgson’s “TV Wheel.”


1942: Director and/or screenwriter for the movies in episodes 423- BRIDE OF THE MONSTER, 610- THE VIOLENT YEARS and 613- THE SINISTER URGE, Ed Wood joins the Marine Corps during World War II, lying about his age in order to enlist.
