'The Voice' Winners Through the Years: Where Are They Now?
The Voice has been stunning viewers for years with amazing talent from across the United States, crowning 27 winners since it premiered in 2011.
During season 19 of the NBC singing competition series, New York native Carter Rubin blew audiences away with his singing abilities and saw coach Gwen Stefani secure her first win. At just 15 years old, Rubin has a long career ahead of him, undoubtedly, but he didn’t want to wait another second to start living his dream.
“Well, Gwen has encouraged me to start writing some music, and that’s definitely what I plan on doing,” he told TV Insider in December 2020. “I have some songs in the folder that I want to record. I definitely want to get in the studio and start putting music out there for people to hear, and then, once COVID is over, I want to perform in front of live audiences again.”

Colon was crowned the winner of The Voice in season 1. He walked away from the show with $100,000 and a contract with Universal Music Group. Eventually, he cut ties with the label. PopSugar reported that he moved on and signed with Concord Music. Colon explained his departure in a 2014 interview with Buddy TV (via Mic).
"I went in with high hopes, as I believe everyone did," he told the outlet at the time. "But when you pour your heart and soul into a new album that you think is really great, and your label who is supposed to support, market and promote your music does neither, it's really hard not to be upset."
Recently, Colon has been releasing covers of popular songs via Instagram.
During season 2 of The Voice, Paul won with a little help from Shelton. After winning, he returned home to Spring Valley, New York, to perform for children at the Martin Luther King Multi-Purpose Center, according to LoHud.com.
"It definitely means the world to me to go back and lend a hand and to show love and do what I can for the community," he said at the time.
Paul went on to release his first solo album in 2015. He was also nominated for two Grammy Awards.
Asked how his life had changed since winning The Voice, Paul explained, "Mainly, now I'm more in control of my own destiny. I move at my own page whereas before it was like, if Alicia wasn't on the road, then I had to go find another gig. I was away from my family a lot. Nowadays, it's definitely changed because I'm more able to set my own schedule."
Prior to his big win, Paul had seen some success performing with well-known musicians like and . He now runs JP Entertainment and has released two albums: 2019's For the Record: Volume 1 and a sequel in July 2020.
Pope won The Voice in season 3. She released several singles and one album, Frame by Frame, in 2013 before taking a lengthy hiatus. In 2018, she released the songs "Take You Home" and "One More Red Light." She released her second album, Stages, in 2019, and her third, Thrive, in 2021.
The musician announced in February 2024 that she’s pivoted from country to rock music, telling Rolling Stone, “I guess rock is in my bones more.” Pope noted that the way women are treated in country music was another factor in her shift. In rock, “you’re not completely ostracized and shamed for speaking out,” she claimed.
Pope has been dating Nashville alum and musician since February 2018.
When she won The Voice in 2013, Bradbery was the youngest to take the title. She released her second album, I Don't Believe We've Met, in 2017 with her first coming prior to the show.
Bradbury continues to work on and release new music, putting out her singles "Never Have I Ever" and "Girls in My Hometown" in 2020. Her third studio album, In Between: The Collection, dropped in March 2022.
Chin was crowned a winner on The Voice in season 5. After taking the title, she was selected to perform during the Daytime Emmy Awards in 2015.
Since then, she's gone on to marry . The pair share a daughter named Zaia whom they welcomed in February 2020. Chin hasn't released new music in several years, but is active on YouTube.
Kaufman won The Voice in season 6 and went on to find success on Broadway, performing in "Home for the Holidays" in 2017.
He has since moved to Indiana with his wife, , and their five children. He's a member of a band called The New Etiquette, does some solo performances and music lessons according to his Instagram.
After winning The Voice in season 7, Boyd released his 2017 album Top Shelf. The project was his last solo album. He's since joined a band called Texas Hill, which put out an album in September 2020. The Texas native splits his time between the music and his family, helping raise his three children.
Fredricks won The Voice in season 8 and has since severed ties with Republic Records and Mick Management to work independently as an artist.
In 2018 he released an album called Hide Your Ghost. Since then, he's been touring in person and virtually amid the COVID-19 pandemic. He also released another album, Flowers For You, in 2020.
Smith, who won The Voice in season 9, was named the best-selling artist in the show's history. He's released three albums, with the most recent coming out in 2018.
Although he hasn't released a full-length album in some time, he did put out a new song called "Angels We Have Heard" in October 2020.
The actress wowed judges and audiences alike in season 10 of The Voice and went on to be crowned the winner. After taking home the title, she headed for Broadway for a short time before starting a band called the Alisan Porter Project.
She released an album called Pink Cloud in September 2019 and nearly, nearly a year later, put out a single called "Lungs."
After winning The Voice in season 11, Head's record deal with Republic Records was shelved while they looked for a partner for him. He eventually signed with Wildcatter Records in 2018 and released his an album, Stained Glass & Neon, in 2019.
He continues to perform music live across the U.S. but hasn't released any professional recordings in some time.
Blue won The Voice season 12 and released an EP two years later called Fresh Start. He is not active on social media, but told Knox News in December 2020 that he was working on a new ep called The Chris Blue Project. The first single, "Back 2 The Future," came out in 2020. The EP was due to follow in spring 2021, he said.
"One of the things that I have learned in the music industry is timing is everything. It's not just about having a song that sonically feels good and sounds good," he told the outlet. "When you release music actually makes a world of difference."
Kohanski, or mk as she's known, won The Voice in season 13. She's released numerous singles since her win and is working on an album that she hasn't yet named.
Cartelli won The Voice in 2018 and signed with Republic Records. She left the label before the deal expired and signed with Atlantic Records. Cartelli is working with the label on her debut album still, but has released four singles so far, including "Last Night's Mascara" and "Grow Young."
After winning The Voice, Shepherd went on to open for Maroon 5 during their 2019 tour. She has also released four singles, including one called "The Letter." Shepherd graduated high school amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and continues to perform her music.
Jarmon won The Voice in season 16 and went on to open for big acts like One Republic and The Fray. She continues to perform live shows, but hasn't yet released her debut album.
After winning The Voice, Hoot returned home and continued working on his music. He has released several singles, including a song called "I Would've Loved You" with in 2021. Hoot is a dedicated father to a little girl and got engaged in September 2020.
Tilghman became the oldest winner of The Voice during season 18. His win came amid the coronavirus pandemic, meaning he wasn't able to get out and perform much after the victory was announced. Tilghman has been hard at work on his new music and his album, however.
The season 19 The Voice winner returned home after being crowned and got to work on some new music. He also continued to focus on school. He teased plans to release an album, but did not set a date.
"This has been the time of my life," Anthony said following his win in May 2021.
Anthony also thanked his coach, Blake Shelton, for letting him explore his artistic journey and allowing him to "have as much fun with it as possible." The twosome performed "She Drives Me Crazy" by Fine Young Cannibals during the final episode of the season.
In 2021, the sibling trio, made up of , and Liechty, won season 21. The vocalists, who were part of Clarkson's team, became the first group to ever win on the show.
The band went on a national tour in 2022 after signing with Universal Music Group. The show calendar stretched into spring 2023. During the season 22 Voice finale, which aired in December 2022, the trio returned to the TV stage to perform their new single, “One More Christmas.”
The Georgia native, who was part of Shelton’s team, was crowned the winner in December 2022. He won $100,000 grand prize and a contract with Universal Music Group.
Miles walked away with The Voice trophy in May 2023 as a member of Team Niall Horan. The Illinois native’s win marked the first victory for the former One Direction member, who made his debut as a coach that season.
Huntley won season 24 of The Voice in December 2023, marking coach Horan’s second victory in a row.
Huntley, who received a four-chair turn during his blind audition, ultimately chose to join Horan’s team at his 6-year-old daughter’s request.
HaVon, who became the show’s first openly LGBTQ+ winner, was crowned the season 25 champion in May 2024 after being coached by .
While celebrating his victory via Instagram, HaVon gave a shout-out to his coach, writing, “You have changed my life and created a milestone in my life that I will have forever. I am your son for life ❤️.”
In his very first season as a coach, Michael Bublé helped guide the man who became The Voice’s first Filipino winner.
Since being voted the winner in December 2024, Vasquez has been working on music projects in both the Philippines and the United States. He has also been able to collaborate with David Foster and Bublé.
