The June 2025 Fashion Moments We Can't Stop Thinking About | ELLE Canada Magazine | Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle Trends & Celebrity News
In the fashion industry, there’s never a dull moment. At the end of each month, we reflect on the must-know fashion happenings, collaborations and launches from the past four weeks in this recurring column. As for June, our thoughts were consumed by Burberry’s festival-themed campaign, a handful of sporty fashion partnerships (think: Louis Vuitton and Real Madrid teaming up), and more.
At the top of the month, Burberry celebrated festival culture and British identity with the launch of its “Festival Season” campaign. The headliners? Iconic Brits like Liam Gallagher, Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung and more. Across Glastonbury-esque portraits shot by Drew Vickers and a short film directed by Kim Gehrig, the unifying power of live music and the pulsating essence of the festival atmosphere are captured on camera.
“Think of the campaign like a collage,” chief creative officer Daniel Lee said in a press statement. “Candid moments capturing off-duty fans and headline acts in between gigs.” From woven check coats to knee-high rubber boots, each piece featured in the campaign solidifies Burberry’s status as an essential label for festival-goers.
Canada Goose and creative director Haider Ackermann‘s second Snow Goose capsule collection debuted this month, and along with it came a fresh campaign titled “Wild Horizon.” The nature-inspired images feature models clad in summer performance-wear pieces, covering a cool palette of earth tones with standout arctic blue and moody violet hues. From the three-layer Zephyr Jacket to the cotton Dawn Crew, this spring/summer 2025 line is here to round out your warm-weather wardrobe.
Leave it to Reformation to launch the coolest collaborations with the internet’s most style-savvy ladies. Case in point: the release of the Sara Linen Dress, designed in partnership with fashion creator Sara Walker (@styledsara). Shoppable in three summery colourways—butter yellow Parmesan, orange Nectarine and zebra-printed Stampede—the brand is betting this midi-length number will be your new favourite dress.
“I designed what I believe is the ultimate summer dress—effortless, flattering and packed with personality,” said the influencer over email. “It’s the kind of piece that works for everything—weddings, coffee runs, even dog walks when you still want to look pulled together. The scalloped edges were inspired by a 1960s fashion magazine I’ve treasured for years, while the buckle details give a subtle nod to a favourite 90s runway moment. Chic, versatile and made for real life—you’ll reach for this dress on repeat, all summer long and beyond.”
When David Beckham—er, Sir David Beckham—comes to town, it’s not a visit you soon forget. In May, the fashion-forward footballer and Tudor ambassador stopped by an exclusive event hosted by the watchmaker in Toronto, and we’re still not quite over it. In other Tudor news, the brand unveiled a sparkling new Black Bay 54 watch with a sand-textured “Lagoon Blue” dial inspired by the sun and sea. Complete with a five-link bracelet, it’s the ultimate summer timepiece.
Louis Vuitton
From designing medal trunks for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games to crafting the winner’s trophy for the F1 Pirelli Grand Prix du Canada Montreal this summer, Louis Vuitton has long been intertwined with the world of sports. Its latest athletic venture comes in the form of a multi-year partnership with Spanish football club Real Madrid—both the men’s and women’s teams—for whom it will be outfitting all of the club’s members and representatives for key travel and events. The label will also be working with the men’s Real Madrid basketball team.
The French fashion house’s Men’s Studio—led by Creative Director Pharrell Williams—has exclusively designed a wardrobe of ready-to-wear pieces, shoes, accessories and bespoke luggage. “Real Madrid stands for excellence and evolution—always pushing forward,” Williams said in a press release. “That energy fuels what we do at Louis Vuitton. This wardrobe was made to move with that same spirit—pieces that travel with purpose, strength and style.”
Louis Vuitton
In more Louis Vuitton news, Jeremy Allen White—everyone’s favourite fictional chef and real-life heartthrob—has officially become the brand’s newest House Ambassador. After attending the 2025 Met Gala and SAG Awards smartly dressed by the brand earlier this year, the 34-year-old actor has proven himself a worthy representative.
“Jeremy’s got a quiet confidence and authenticity that you can’t fake. It’s effortless. At Louis Vuitton, it’s about real people who move culture forward—and Jeremy lives that. We’re proud to welcome him into the family,” men’s creative director Pharrell Williams said in a press statement.
Tiffany & Co. and contemporary artist Daniel Arsham have joined forces to launch a limited-edition work of art. Housed in a Bronze Eroded Penny Vessel with crystal accents, observe a one-of-a-kind Hardwear necklace that reimagines the jeweller’s iconic Hardwear design. Made up of over 1,000 diamonds and 500 tsavorites, this 18-karate white-gold necklace embodies the rebellious nature of New York City while mirroring Arsham Studio’s signature “future relic” aesthetic.
In honour of both Pride Month and Indigenous Heritage Month, the Toronto Tempo has partnered with three talented Canadian artists to drop a limited-edition line of merch. Queer interdisciplinary Anishinaabe (Algonquin) artist Natalie King, Scarborough-raised creative Gracia Lam and Montreal-based graphic designer and illustrator Simon L’Archevêque have designed a must-shop collection of colourful clothing and accessories you’ll want to rep at your first Tempo game come 2026.
With this year’s French and Australian Open wrapped, Wimbledon currently underway, and the U.S. Open still to come this summer, the arrival of the Veronica Beard x Head Sportswear capsule collection feels particularly exciting. Filled with Tenniscore-style staples from the Volley Truck Jacket to the Deuce Pleated Tennis Skort, this limited-edition drop is one tennis enthusiasts won’t want to miss picking up.
Modelled by Canadian taekwondo Olympian Skylar Park in a recent Adidas campaign, the brand’s Dropset 3 training sneakers have been launched in an electric new neon green colourway. Made with strength and weight-based workouts in mind, these statement shoes feature a flat 6mm drop height for added stability and proper form. Plus, HEAT.RDY and geoFIT technology keep your feet cool, while TRAXION rubber provides extra grip.
