Tonight at the 2025 Oscars, Hollywood’s brightest stars gathered to honor cinematic excellence. The red carpet saw plenty of show-stopping fashion moments, perfectly paired with glamorous beauty statements.
Old Hollywood updos were everywhere, with Elle Fanning Mikey Madison, and Margaret Qualley each proving a ‘60s inspired, Holly Golightly-worthy twist never goes out of style. But the magic was also in the details, like Emma Stone’s slicked finger waves and Lupita Nyong’o’s iridescent pearl-embellished updo.
From Halle Berry’s megawatt glow to Scarlett Johansson’s flushed cheeks, there was an emphasis on radiant skin all over the red carpet. And the perfect finishing touch? A flawless nude lip, as demonstrated by Selena Gomez and Rachel Zegler.
On the manicure front, Cynthia Erivo, reigning queen of next-level nail art this season, went out with a bang, serving up an Oz-inspired manicure crafted by Mycah Dior. “We knew this was one of the last ones, so we wanted to make it special,” says Erivo.

"Since the overall look was monochromatic pearls, I added pops of color with pearlized highlight into the makeup look," says her makeup artist Nick Barose, who used Chanel Ombre Essentielle Multi-Use Top Coat in Blanc Perle for that iridescent finish.
