Published 1 month ago1 minute read

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Terre Foods held their annual meeting for 2025 this afternoon, as they continue to make progress on their co-op market.

The project is over a decade in the making as residents of the 12 points area have been long awaiting a source of groceries.

Terre Foods has recently hit some big milestones in the process, such as receiving a $250,000 APRA grant from the city council last March.

Construction has continued on the building that will become the grocery store, right next to the 12 points market. Framework is up.

Inspections have been done by the Heath Department, Zoning, Fire, and Electrical Inspectors.

As well as many local businesses have pledged to deliver their product to the store to be sold.

Terre Foods original goal was for the grocery building to be completed in late 2024, but they have now moved their timeline.

We will keep you updated as progress continues to be made.
