TechFest continues its successful event programme
GSF Techfest concluded its second event of 2025 with a celebration of the aftermarket at the CBS Arena in Coventry.
Organised and run by GSF Car Parts, Techfest has expanded to three events this year, following a successful launch in London during 2024. The second garage technology event of the year featured more than 70 leading suppliers, a variety of guest appearances from across the automotive industry, and more.
Special guest speakers included Mark Field, Chief Executive of the IAAF, Tim Guidotti aka The Fleet Guy, Mat Cleevely, Managing Director of Cleevely Motors and Cleevely EV, and automotive journalist and content creator Mat Watson, who was interviewed by Sam Hard about the opportunities to embrace digital marketing.
Elsewhere, a programme of TeckTalks offered a diverse mix of expert insights, from hands-on technical guidance to business growth strategies. Topics included EV readiness, secure diagnostics, turbo troubleshooting, fleet work, car key programming, and future-focused repair techniques.
There was also a wide variety of competitions and giveaways worth several thousands of pounds, including two £1,000 toolboxes, as well as tech, merchandise and vouchers.
“TechFest exists because we felt there was something missing from the industry,” commented Steve Horne, CEO, GSF Car Parts. “Our ethos has always been customer is king, so we set out to create an event with a fun, carnival-like atmosphere to engage suppliers, garages and technicians. Whether that is bringing your family, your staff, or friends, TechFest is enjoyable for all involved.
“Big thank you to everyone who turned up and made it an unforgettable event. We now look forward to Wembley in September and announcing where we will be next year.”
Mark Field, Chief Executive at IAAF, added: “What has really struck me about Techfest is the level of engagement between the suppliers and garages. The garages that are here are open to new ideas and embracing trends happening in the market, as well as being up to date with the latest issues affecting the running of their business.
“The entire industry is working hard to raise standards so we can continue to serve motorists at the highest level.”
On 18th September, TechFest heads to London’s Wembley Stadium for the third and final stop of 2025. For free tickets, register at gsftechfest.com
