The second China-Central Asia Summit marks "a historic event" and opened a new chapter for a time-tested regional partnership, said Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin on Tuesday outside the summit venue in Astana.
Among the summit's key outcomes was the announcement by Chinese President Xi Jinping of three new cooperation centers focused on poverty reduction, educational exchange, and desertification control, along with the launch of a trade facilitation platform.
These initiatives are "very important to each of us," Muhriddin said.
He also expressed optimism about the path ahead. "We hope that in a very short time, we will achieve big success."
