Darlings, we regret to inform you that it is going to be TUESDAY all day long. Best if we all just avoided the day completely by spending it in a whimsical, comfy LOunge where the real world is kept at bay. Grab a seat. Order something disgraceful.
Bob Mackie has lived a life most people couldn’t even dream of. From a childhood obsession with the silver screen to an epic career costuming some of the greatest performers of the past six decades, the designer has done it all. And with with a newly released documentary, Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion, under his belt, the 84-year-old is ready to look back on a lifetime of dressing divas in bedazzled, barely-there looks: from Judy Garland to Cher to Tina Turner, Liza Minelli, and even today’s powerhouse celebs including Miley Cyrus and Zendaya. But how did he keep his creativity flowing while handling such larger-than-life personas? As Mackie tells our senior editor Taylore Scarabelli, “It was like show business heaven, and that’s what I loved more than anything.”
Jeremy Allen White is attached to star in and executive produce a Netflix limited series adaptation of the André Aciman novel “Enigma Variations,” Variety has learned exclusively from sources.
The project is currently in development at the streamer. Should it move forward, this would be the second onscreen adaptation of one of Aciman’s novels. Previously, his novel “Call Me by Your Name” was turned into a critically-acclaimed film starring Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer with James Ivory writing and Luca Guadagnino directing. The film received four Oscar nominations upon its release, with Ivory winning for best adapted screenplay.
Charlie’s Angels were back in full throttle as they reunited to celebrate Demi Moore’s latest career achievements. Coming off her emotional and historic Golden Globe Award win–her first such honor during her 45-year career–The Substance actor was nominated for one of the industry’s most prestigious distinctions: An Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role, for her turn as a fading celebrity who turns towards a black market drug to regain her youth. Ahead of the Academy Awards on March 2, Moore was joined by her Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle co-stars for a celebratory (and rare) reunion.
For a new chop, you can’t get much fresher than a pixie cut. There’s something about lopping away all those extra layers that feels unapologetically, unashamedly, deliciously liberating. It comes with some major benefits too. It’s cute, it’s lightweight, and the cheekbone-baring shape provides some serious bone structure.
But, even though it’s rebellious, there’s multiple ways to play a pixie – from dainty and delicate, to edgy and alternative. And with TikTok exploding with inspiration, more of us have admitted to feeling a little more daring and experimental when it comes to our haircuts.
Over the past few years, the almond nail has become the undisputed queen of trending manis, with celebrity fans like Hailey Bieber, J.Lo, Jasmine Tookes and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley putting the shape even more firmly on the map. Hailey Bieber’s nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt told GLAMOUR: “almond shape is the most feminine nail shape in my opinion, and it makes the nail bed look longer and narrower. It’s also easy to work with since it doesn’t have any sharp edges.”
I don’t like vintage shopping – I love it. It’s the thrill of the hunt that gets my dopamine receptors twitching; there’s nothing quite like the feeling of tracking down a pristine, pre-loved Louis Vuitton bag or the perfect pair of oversized earrings from the ’80s.
Over the years, I have accumulated a list of the best online vintage shops and sellers, each specialising in various eras and ephemera. Whether you’re looking for a 1920s slip or Y2K Gucci, I know the people who can make it happen.
My meticulously curated directory has remained under lock and key… until now. Yes, dear readers, I am sharing my secrets. Happy shopping – and don’t tell too many of your friends.
Coinciding with the kickoff of Paris Haute Couture Week, the Louvre opened its doors to “Louvre Couture: Art Objects, Fashion Objects” on January 24th—marking the first major fashion exhibition in the museum’s storied history.
Staged on the first floor of the Richelieu wing, the exhibition transforms the entirety of the museum’s nearly 9,000-square-meter Decorative Arts wing into a walkable fashion mood board, with over 70 garments—rare loans and archival contributions from 45 houses—set against the Louvre’s immense catalogue of paintings, furniture, and decorative objects from the Middle Ages through the 19th century.
Comb the internet for flannel shirt outfit inspiration, and you’ll find looks for a forest-dwelling lumberjack or a grunge head whose style is stuck in the 1990s. Rugged outdoorsmen recommend shopping for thermal button-downs at labels like Carhartt and L.L. Bean, while rough-and-ready rock enthusiasts still wear the same checked button-down shirt from when they saw Nirvana back in ‘93.
But if you ask the high-fashion crowd, they’ll paint a different picture than the flannel shirt’s well-known woodsy archetypes and subcultures.
As far as performances go, 2025 is a year of renaissance (or revenge, depending on how you look at it) for actresses who also could be considered “popcorn” by industry standards, i.e., over-40 starlets who have been working for decades in the entertainment arena and have a mixed bag of genres under their belts. Moore, Zoe Saldaña, Angelina Jolie, and Pamela Anderson come to mind, each off whom have been heaped with praise and nominations for their roles in movies this year. Younger stars with two feet firmly planted in popular culture who also proved their serious-acting chops—namely Ariana Grande—have also been rewarded.
Whether you’re single and ready to mingle or are in a committed relationship (I’m T-minus one month until my wedding), there are endless reason to love Valentine’s Day. From Galentine’s dates and a little self-love action (it’s the perfect excuse to book a facial massage), there’s always a way to make the romantic holiday work for you. As a beauty enthusiast, one of my favorite ways to get in on the fun? Some gorgeous Valentine’s Day nails, aka, the ultimate treat yourself moment.
The hiatuses between Bridgerton seasons have been unbearable for fans, as each season has taken over two years to be released. (Season 1 debuted in December 2020, season 2 in March 2022, and season 3 in May and June 2024.) If season 4 follows the same schedule, we won’t see the next love story until fall 2026.
However, production appears to be moving along quickly for the new episodes. On September 16, 2024, Netflix announced that filming has begun on Bridgerton season 4, dropping the news along with behind-the-scenes portraits of the season’s leads Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha, taken on Bridgerton’s newly constructed back lot at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, England.
Books can transport us into different worlds, mindsets, and lives—and with everything going on nowadays, it’s understandable if you’re looking for an escape right about now. And what better genre to get swept up in than romance? Romance novels have been booming for the last few years, partially because there’s something for everyone: The newest love stories range from sweet to sexy—and everywhere in between—with every race, gender, and sexuality represented. They span nearly every genre on the shelf, from historical to sci-fi to horror to fantasy, and cover every classic-for-a-reason trope, like enemies-to-lovers, friends-to-lovers, grumpy-sunshine, fake relationship, forbidden love…the list goes on (and on).
It’s not putting on airs to say that Telluride, Colorado, is one of the best mountain towns in America: founded in 1878 by a rowdy group of Wild West silver miners, Telluride transformed over the century from a precious metal hub to a cultural one—the seventies saw the arrival of both the Telluride ski resort and the world-renowned Telluride Film festival known for premiering movies like Mulholland Drive, Brokeback Mountain, and Lady Bird. And that’s to say nothing of its beauty. Nestled within a box canyon, Telluride is surrounded by snowcapped mountains that appear to stretch to the sky. (In a way, they almost do—many of the town’s peaks are higher than 14,000 feet. One of them, called Wilson Peak, even inspired the famous Coors Light logo.)
If you’re wondering how to make a statement with your fashion this year, then I have a tip on the latest accessory trend, and it starts with a classic Italian dessert.
When I say that tiramisu purses are going viral, I’m not talking about a hand bag that simply comes in the neutral colors of espresso and mascarpone. A “tiramisu purse” is, instead, exactly what it sounds like: a purse full of tiramisu.
Making sourdough bread at home is a popular choice among people who love making homemade bread. And while it only requires a few ingredients, it does require a few key tools for making this tangy, crusty, and chewy bread. Thankfully, instead of trying to grab them all separately, you can opt for a sourdough bread baking kit.
More and more restaurants around the country are producing consumer packaged goods (products like sauces, spices, and drinks) that are sold and shipped nationwide. Part souvenirs, part status symbols, these restaurant-made products are the secret ingredients to elevate weeknight recipes and dinner parties alike — and they make a much better host or housewarming gift than that ho-hum bouquet or bottle of wine you picked up on a whim.

Coca-Cola is diving deep into the nostalgia pool with its brand-new flavor.
On Monday, the soda giant announced that it’s releasing Coca-Cola Orange Cream. According to the brand, the new drink is a “delicious taste of Coca-Cola infused with refreshing orange and smooth, creamy vanilla flavors.”
And while it’s an all-new flavor, Coca-Cola explained that the twist is really an old favorite.
It’s time to put down the boxed macaroni and cheese.
Don’t get me wrong: It’s convenient and nostalgic, and often the exact kind of instant meal you really need. But if you haven’t made this comforting dish from scratch before, know that you’re missing out: A homemade rendition is guaranteed to change your life.
The best part about homemade mac ‘n’ cheese is that you get to customize it to your liking. Want a layer of crunchy breadcrumbs baked on top? Go for it. Prefer a mix of cheeses or exclusively cheddar? The world is your oyster. Personally, I always add several dashes of Cholula to the base of my cheese sauce. But after watching a recent Martha Stewart clip, there’s one new trick I’m dying to try.
Step aside, açaí, a new antioxidant-rich berry is on the scene, and it promises to deliver just as many, if not more, health benefits. Introducing crowberries, the latest superfood to take over health-focused circles.
While they may seem new to the market, crowberries have a deep-rooted history in cool-climate areas, specifically in the Northern Hemisphere. Native to parts of Alaska, Canada, and Iceland, these dark-hued berries, sometimes referred to as mossberries, grow on creeping evergreen shrubs and tend to bloom between May and June. Many biologists credit the plants’ widespread cultivation to migratory birds that carried and dispersed seeds while traveling from season to season.
History is being made in modern television with the upcoming premiere of Beyond The Gates, the first-ever, one-hour Black daytime drama to air on television. CBS has officially released the highly anticipated trailer for the series, giving audiences a glimpse into the groundbreaking show that promises to reshape the daytime drama landscape.
Set to debut on Monday, February 24, 2025, Beyond The Gates will air weekdays at 2:00pm ET on CBS and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+. This historic series marks a significant milestone—it’s been over two decades since a new daytime soap hit the airwaves, so this show is impacting the industry in more ways than one.
Episode four of The Crown season three shed light on a little known figure from royal history, Princess Alice of Battenberg, the mother of the Duke of Edinburgh. Titled ‘Bubakins’ for the Princess’s nickname for her only son, it showed the end of her life, and how she came to be a nun living in Buckingham Palace before her death in 1969.
As previous series showed, the Duke was born into the Greek Royal Family as Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark, but was raised abroad following the exile of his family from Greece in 1922. Four-year-old Philip first lived in Paris, before moving to England to stay with his maternal grandmother, Victoria Mountbatten, Dowager Marchioness of Milford Haven and his uncle George Mountbatten, 2nd Marquess of Milford Haven. He was schooled at Gordonstoun in Scotland before joining the Royal Navy aged 18.
When in Morocco, one might visit the El Badi Palace, walk the grounds of the Koutoubia Mosque or enjoy a meal of dates and chebakia at … McDonald’s?
For some, dining at McDonald’s has become part of the fun of traveling abroad. With distinctive locations — a “ski-through” restaurant in Sweden, a decommissioned Douglas DC-3 aircraft in New Zealand — and vastly different menus, the chain has adapted to a host of cultures, drawing in locals and tourists alike.
Across TikTok, YouTube and Reddit, travelers have marveled at the options: poutine in Canada, jamón Ibérico sandwiches in Spain, fried chicken in Malaysia, macarons in France and McSpaghetti in the Philippines, to name a few.

We can all agree that washing our clothes regularly is essential, but what’s less straightforward is choosing the detergent we use to get them clean. Store-bought options are touted for their stain-fighting and color-boosting properties, which keep clothes looking their best. But according to our experts, you can make a homemade laundry detergent that has the exact same cleaning power, sans the synthetic fragrances and chemicals commonly found in commercial products. If you want to use a detergent that is eco-friendly and effective, look to this DIY mixture recommended by laundry and cleaning professionals.
America’s ‘Most Charming Town’ Has an Epic Ski Resort With No Crowds, Idyllic Spring Skiing, and a 2,400-foot Vertical Drop
Here’s what it’s like to hit the slopes at Red Lodge Mountain, one of Montana’s most underrated ski areas.
There’s no shortage of ski areas in Montana, but there’s only one in America’s “most charming” town. Founded in 1960 as Grizzly Peak Ski Area, Red Lodge Mountain is just seven miles from downtown Red Lodge’s delightfully Western main street, where galleries, shops, cafés, and historic buildings line the walkable blocks.
“For those coming from the Midwest, like myself, Red Lodge Mountain is the first stop ski area once you hit the Rockies,” explains Anne Kosorok, the director of mountain operations. Located along the Beartooth Mountains, the ski area is directly above the Wyoming border and the northeastern corner of Yellowstone National Park. While the location may seem a bit remote for some travelers, the mountain itself is more than worth the trip — especially if you’re looking for a variety of terrain and an approachable, friendly scene. According to Kosorok, “People from all over join local legends, families, race teams, and school groups, and they find turns regardless of their ability level.”
