NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 11:24AM

Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 4.99%), Pokarna Ltd.(up 4.67%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(up 4.29%), KIOCL Ltd.(up 4.22%), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(up 3.24%), MOIL Ltd.(up 2.19%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 1.96%), 20 Microns Ltd.(up 1.62%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.51%) and NMDC Ltd.(up 0.78%) were among the top gainers.

Oriental Trimex Ltd.(down 0.65%) and Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(down 0.46%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 57.05 points up at 22891.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 129.65 points at 75430.91 at around 11:24AM.

Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 4.08%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.29%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 2.22%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.98%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.66%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.64%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.6%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.53%), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.35%) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.34%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 2.11%), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.01%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.01%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.8%), ITC Ltd.(down 1.02%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.89%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.76%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.74%), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.72%) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.6%) were trading in the red.
