Spring Colors of Sneex's Sneaker Heels Are Here in Time for Mother's Day

Published 2 weeks ago3 minute read

Because my job revolves around shopping, I pride myself on always finding the perfect presents for my loved ones. And on holidays like Mother’s Day, I put even more pressure on myself to really deliver.

But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from years of gifting, it’s this: If you buy the thing you know your giftee likes, rather than something there’s a chance they may or may not like, everybody is happy. And for me and mine, it’s Sneex sneaker heels

My mom and I recently fell head over heels for the Reese Witherspoon-worn shoes, and my mom even more so. Because she told me herself, “one pair is not enough,” I’m thinking of surprising her with another pair since Sneex just dropped seven new spring-ready colors. And according to the brand, one-third of its customers already have a second pair, so my mom is due for hers.

The Icon, the sneaker heels Witherspoon and Kathy Bates wear, and Oprah called out on her 2024 Favorite Things List, are now available in two new hues. “Bone White” is a versatile cream color with a splash of contrast thanks to its brown heel and sole. It’s classy and at first glance, has a rustic-designer charm that brings to mind heritage designers like Ralph Lauren.

While the name may suggest otherwise, “Ice Blue” is, I think, the most spring-like of them all. It’s the color of Easter eggs, Baby’s Breath, and a cloud-free sky — some of the most enjoyable parts of the season. (P.S. “Sand,” another neutral that launched in March, is even lighter than “Camel,” the original beige-neutral option available in this silhouette, so it’s also good for this time of year.)

They start at $395, which I know is a splurge, but heels are my mother’s livelihood, and it’s worth it to see her happy. Also, because of the equal weight distribution and cram-free toe box, she never complains about her feet when she wears Sneex. And as it gets hot outside, the mesh material will keep one less part of the body sweaty.

Plus, I know she’ll wear them with everything in her closet, including jeans and joggers, since she already does. (Her coworker said he is buying his wife a pair after hearing about how much my mom loves them!)

The five other new shades are distributed between the brand’s other offerings, The Tepper and The Blake, both of which have adjustable straps. The latter now comes in a pretty “Ballet Pink,” which I can already see my mom styling with an all-white outfit, “Stone,” another neutral, and  “Sunkissed,” which is a beautiful Earth tone that, hopefully, inspires her to book a trip to come visit me in the desert.

The Blake’s “Terracotta” hue is festive for the Fourth of July with pops of red, and “Sage Green” is a pretty pastel that I’d personally wear with the most ruffly, floral dress I could find. And before you inquire, they, too, have the same for-comfort features as The Icon.

All three shoe styles are available in sizes 5 to 12, though select sizes are already sold out. While I’m not one to rush a big purchase, we’d be remiss not to say this: Over 11,000 shoppers have been put on waitlists since Sneex first debuted in August 2024, per the brand. So, if you wait around too long, you might just miss your chance.

Head to Sneex now to shop the brand’s springy new sneaker heels. Then let us know in the comments below how you like them.
