The Storm Prediction Center has most of the metroplex under a 1-out-of-5 risk for severe thunderstorms. That threat is slightly higher, a 2-out-of-5 risk along the Red River. This will primarily be a strong, damaging wind threat for the area, with the possibility of some small hail.
