Bilbao to add Hilliard to their roster, ex UNICS - June 11, 2025

Surne Bilbao Basket (Liga Endesa) will ad to their roster 32-year old USA ex-international shooting guard Darrun Hilliard (198cm-98kg-1993, college: Villanova) for season 2025-26. He played last season at UNICS Kazan in Russian VTB United League. In 10 games he recorded 8.9ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.4apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Hilliard also played for Breogan Lugo earlier that season.
In 2015 he was drafted by Detroit Pistons (NBA) in second round (38th overall). The former Villanova University standout is in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. He was a member of USA Senior National Team back in 2017.
Hilliard is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Germany (Bayern Muenchen), Israel (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka), NBA (San Antonio Spurs), Spain (Baskonia), NBA G League (Grand Rapids Gold) and The Basketball Tournament (Eberlein Drive).
Hilliard won Israeli Premier League championship title in 2023.
