Sister Wives is coming back for the second half of season 19, and the midseason trailer promised plenty of drama for the Brown family. Ahead of the show’s return, fans are wondering what happens in the trailer, the show’s premiere date and more.

A new trailer for the midseason premiere was released on March 20, 2025, and teased that the Brown family is still arguing over Coyote Pass.

The clip began with Meri Brown and Janelle Brown discussing the ongoing drama regarding the property they purchased with Kody prior to their splits. “As long as that property remains a source of contention, I can’t fully move on,” Janelle said in a confessional.

Meri told Janelle she was “so mad” and threatened legal action against Kody and his last remaining wife, Robyn Brown. “I’m gonna have to get some lawyers involved,” she said.

“There’s a few things that I will fight for, and this is one of them,” Meri added in a voiceover. “There’s so many people that are like, ‘She was a liar. She was manipulating.’”

Kody also appeared in the clip, insisting that he was “not trying to rip” Meri off regarding Coyote Pass.

Meanwhile, Robyn also got emotional as she reflected on the state of her friendship with Meri amid the drama. “I always had Meri’s back, even when people were plotting against her, ignoring her,” she said.

Robyn added that she and Meri used to have a strong “bond,” though she was “now questioning” it. “Why tell me that you want to have a relationship with me and then ghost me?” the mother of five asked.

As Sister Wives fans know, Kody and his then-four wives purchased the Coyote Pass property in 2018 for $820,000. They intended to build four homes for each wife on the property, though they never broke ground on the property before their family fell apart.

announced her split from Kody in November 2021, and she rid herself of the land when she sold her portion to the businessman and Robyn for $10 in August 2022. Janelle confirmed she left Kody in December 2022, and Meri and Kody announced their split in January 2023.

Kody and Robyn have since embraced their lives as a monogamous couple. However, Robyn has made it clear that she never intended on being in a monogamous relationship.

Another couple that was heavily featured in the first half of season 19 was Christine and her husband, David Woolley. Despite not appearing in the midseason trailer, the early stages of their relationship and wedding planning process were major storylines in the season.

The remainder of Sister Wives season 19 returns on TLC Sunday, April 20, at 10 p.m. ET. The rest of the episodes will continue airing in that same time slot.
