Actor Shefali Jariwala, best known for the chartbuster 'Kaanta Laga' and her appearance on 'Bigg Boss 13', has died at the age of 42, reportedly due to cardiac arrest on June 27. Soon after the news broke, fans were left heartbroken and remembered her for her iconic song and her stint on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.

Many recalled her close friendship with the late actor Sidharth Shukla, forged during their time together in the 'Bigg Boss' house. Others shared personal anecdotes about having met her, or revisited her interviews where she appeared candid, warm, and full of life. Several fans praised her vibrant personality, calling her “good-hearted” and a “pure soul.”

One fan shared a clip from an old interview where Shefali opened up about her personal life, marriage, and her thoughts on motherhood. The caption read, "Why is it always like we start seeing the good things when the person is gone? Shefali Jariwala was truly a pure soul and a good-hearted woman."

Another fan posted a touching image of Shefali and Sidharth Shukla hugging each other inside the Bigg Boss 13 house, writing, "Bigg Boss 13 turned out to be a cursed season. It’s heartbreaking for me, as both my favourite contestants from that season, #SidharthShukla and #ShefaliJariwala, are no more. I hope that, just like the moment in this photo, they are hugging each other wherever they are now. They will never be forgotten."

As tributes poured in, many expressed shock, sadness, and disbelief over her untimely death.

Shefali was found unresponsive at her residence in Andheri. “Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear,” the police confirmed.

Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead. Her body was later taken to Cooper Hospital around 12:30 am for postmortem.

According to the Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) at Cooper Hospital, the body was brought from another facility, and the exact cause of death will only be confirmed after the postmortem report is released.
