Live from Studio 8H, it's Scarlett Johansson — who made Saturday Night Live history!
The actress, 40, hosted the finale of the late-night comedy sketch series' milestone season 50, marking her seventh time as host, which made her the female star to have hosted SNL the most times.
Before the finale, Johansson had hosted six times, the same amount as both Tina Fey and Drew Barrymore.
The Jurassic World Rebirth star served as host for the first time in January 2006. Subsequent hosting gigs came in April 2007, November 2010, May 2015, March 2017 and December 2019, and she has made cameos numerous times throughout the years.
The male star with the most hosting gigs under his belt is Alec Baldwin, who has lent his talents as host 17 times throughout SNL's history.
During her opening monologue, Johansson broke into an SNL-themed parody of Billy Joel’s "Piano Man" with help from various cast members, including Bowen Yang, Sarah Sherman, Mikey Day and Chloe Fineman.
Elsewhere during the show, Johansson starred in a variety of sketches, including one in which she played a local news anchor, and another where she portrayed a moderator who interviews the cast of a popular TV show.
Bad Bunny appeared as the musical guest for the season 50 finale. During his first musical performance, the musician, 31, performed "Nuevayol."
He later returned to the stage to sing "Perfumito Nuevo" with RaiNao. Both tracks are from his latest album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos (I Should Have Taken More Photos).
