SB Jain Institute students learn more about entrepreneurship progs - The Times of India

SB Jain Institute of Management and Technology
organised a guest lecture as part of
Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme
in association with The Times of India. Subhash Ingewar, assistant director, MSME, was the keynote speaker. The event aimed to enlighten students and aspiring entrepreneurs about the various govt schemes and support available for start-ups.
Ingewar highlighted key initiatives by the Govt of India, including the
MSME loan schemes
,
Start-up India
, Standup India, and
Mudra Yojana
, which provide financial assistance, mentorship, and market access to young entrepreneurs. He encouraged students to leverage these schemes to kick-start their ventures.
Additionally, Vaibhav Kumbhare, coordinator and faculty, MCED, and Anil Paril, manager, DIC, shared insightful steps on how to establish a successful business. They emphasised the importance of market research, business planning, financial management, and innovation. They also stressed the need for perseverance and adaptability in today's competitive landscape.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students actively engaged with the experts. The event proved to be a valuable platform for fostering the entrepreneurial spirit among young minds, guiding them toward a promising future in business.
