Saudi Arabia - Amman-United-adds-Sims-to-their-roster
Amman United (Premier League) added to their roster experienced 34-year old USA ex-international center Henry Sims (208cm-111kg-1990, college: Georgetown). He played last season at Tri-State (Big3) in the U.S. The last season he played at Ohod Medina in Saudi Arabian SBL where in 14 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.6ppg, 9.9rpg and 1.7apg. He helped them to make it to the Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Fahed Cup Semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Honorable Mention.
Sims has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016. He was a member of USA Senior National Team in 2022.
Sims is quite experienced player. Sims' career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in nine different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Sims has played previously professionally in China (Loongs), Italy (Reggio Emilia, Fortitudo Flat Service Bologna, Cremona and Treviso), Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela (Broncos), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns), NBA G League (SLC Stars and Grand Rapids Gold), South Korea (Mobis Phoebus and KoGas) and The Basketball Tournament (Dawgtown).
