Samsung Galaxy Buds Core Launch in India

Samsung is poised to launch its new Galaxy Buds Core true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in India, with official teasers and listings confirming their imminent arrival. Although an exact release date has not been confirmed by Samsung, various sources suggest a possible unveiling during the July Unpacked event, which is anticipated to take place on July 9. The Galaxy Buds Core recently appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, further solidifying their impending debut in the Indian market. These new earbuds are rumored to be the successor to the Galaxy Buds FE.
Samsung has actively teased the launch through its official social media channels in India, sharing a message that promises enhanced audio performance: "Brace yourself! The music is about to hit harder. Feel every note, every drop, every beat - louder, clearer, deeper. Dropping soon!" Additionally, Samsung’s official Indian website hosts a dedicated microsite for the Galaxy Buds Core, providing limited information but confirming the product name. This official teasing, combined with their appearance on the Samsung UAE website, has provided insights into their expected features.
Key specifications revealed ahead of the launch indicate that the Galaxy Buds Core will be available in two classic color options: Black and White. A significant feature is the inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, designed to provide superior sound clarity in various environments. The earbuds are also expected to integrate Samsung’s advanced AI-powered features, such as Interpreter and Live Translate, which will enhance user convenience, especially when paired with compatible Galaxy devices. Touch controls via a sensor on each earbud are also anticipated.
In terms of battery performance, the upcoming Galaxy Buds Core are projected to offer up to 20 hours of playback with ANC enabled, extending to an impressive 35 hours when ANC is turned off. Each earbud is equipped with a 65mAh battery, while the charging case houses a substantial 500mAh battery. Connectivity-wise, the Galaxy Buds Core will support Bluetooth version 5.4 and are compatible with AAC, SBC, and Samsung’s proprietary Scalable codec. They will also support standard Bluetooth profiles including A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP. For durability, the earbuds come with an IP54 rating, providing resistance against dust and water splashes. Each earbud is expected to measure 19.2 x 17.1 x 22.2 mm and weigh 5.3 grams, while the charging case is sized at 50 x 50 x 27.7 mm and weighs 31.2 grams.
