Sagaponack General Store
You’re going to wait in line at Sag General this summer and it’s very much going to be worth it. The newly renovated 19th-century building has been restored thanks to a post-shutdown billionaire proprietor, who hired Brooklyn’s Daniel Eddy (of Winner) to create the wide-ranging menu. A banger breakfast sandwich, ham and cheese baguettes, plus baked goods that include fresh-out-of-the-oven cinnamon rolls kick things off. There’s plenty of prepared food too, like soups and rotisserie chicken dinners. Stop by to hang out on the porch or picnic tables, or to stock up before the beach, or just for a Le Colombe cold brew or lattes from the tap.
