Ruto confident he will secure second term
President William Ruto has expressed confidence in securing a second term in office, highlighting the significant progress made under his administration.
Speaking during a development tour of Kisumu County on Thursday, the head of state stated that a majority of Kenyans appreciate his work, particularly following the formation of a broad-based government that included members from ODM leader Raila Odinga’s political party in his administration.
The President reiterated his government’s commitment to delivering tangible results, improving public service delivery, and empowering ordinary citizens through inclusive economic reforms.
Wale tutawamalizia asubuhi na mapema,” he said, referencing the 2027 elections.
He accused the opposition of keeping the country in a constant state of politics , stressing that when election time comes, they will have nothing to show to Kenyans.
“Wale watu wanataka kutuingiza siasa mfululizo tunawaambia jameni hatuna time. Sisi ni watu wa kazi bila break,” he remarked.
