Egor Demin is drawing interest from several teams ahead of the 2025 NBA draft, with the Chicago Bulls reportedly among those high on the former BYU guard.
Demin was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team, averaging 10.6 points, 5.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals on 41.2% shooting from the field in 33 games. He finished in double figures 19 times, including a season-high 20 points, seven assists and rebounds on Nov. 8.

The 6-foot-9 Russian dazzled as a playmaker, ranking third in the conference in assists after setting the freshman program record with 180. He possesses several skills the Bulls are looking for in a prospect and is high on their radar, according to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times.
This is more than just smoke. There are flames all around the quick climber from Brigham Young. Demin has seen his stock go from late teens in the first round to the end of the lottery, and now he’s kicking down the door to the top 10. The Pelicans at No. 7, the Nets at No. 8 and the Raptors at No. 9 could take Demin and be thrilled about it.
Demin became the first five-star recruit to commit to BYU after playing for the Real Madrid youth team over the previous two seasons. He is considered a potential lottery pick, given his skill set, ability as a playmaker and size at the point guard position.
The 19-year-old struggled to shoot from 3-point range, converting only 27.3% of his 4.3 attempts per game. However, Demin showed improvement at the combine earlier this month, connecting on 58.4% in total attempts across two 3-point shooting drills.
Demin is currently projected to be selected in the 10-20 range, making the Bulls a realistic landing spot for him with the 12th pick. But with three-plus weeks to go until the festivities, draft boards will certainly fluctuate as prospects interview and work out with teams.

The draft will take place on June 25-26 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
