Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja were the protagonists for the latest behind the scenes (BTS) video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday. Ahead of the start of the Champions Trophy on February 19, the duo, who were on their way to take obligatory photos and videos for the ICC, recalled how many of such 'content days' they've been part of.
Rohit recalled it was his 15th ICC Media Day, taking into account the T20 World Cups, ODI World Cups and Champions Trophies he had been part of. He then went on to do the math of having played nine T20 World Cups, three ODI World Cups and preparing for his third Champions Trophy, which is back on the calendar after a eight-year gap.

He then went on to revise the number to 17th such obligation, when recalling that World Test Championship (WTC) finals are also part of the process. India had played the finals of both the 2019-2021 and 2021-2023 WTC cycles, losing to New Zealand and Australia, respectively.

"17 baar bulaya unhone, yeh sab karne (they've called me 17 times to do this!)," said Rohit in the BCCI video.
Jadeja stated he had played almost the same number with the exception of the T20 World Cup in 2007 and 2012.

Upon arriving for the photoshoot in Dubai, Shubman Gill shared this was his third ICC Media Day - counting the 2024 T20 World Cup, 2023 ODI World Cup and the upcoming Champions Trophy. He, too, missed out on including the WTC Final in his CV. Eventually he arrived at this being his fifth such event.
