Report: Indiana men's basketball adds home game vs Kansas State to nonconference slate
Indiana men’s basketball will host Kansas State for a nonconference game on November 25th, 2025 at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana, according to a report from Rocco Miller, later confirmed by Zach Osterman of the Indianapolis Star:
— Rocco Miller (@RoccoMiller8) June 26, 2025I can confirm the rumors that Indiana will host Kansas State as part of its 2025-26 non-conference schedule, according to multiple sources.
The date is set for Tuesday, November 25th in Bloomington. #B1G #Big12
The move, similar to last season’s clash with South Carolina, adds a power conference home game to Indiana’s nonconference schedule. Other power conference opponents for Indiana in 2025 include Marquette, Louisville and Kentucky.
The Hoosiers and Wildcats have clashed 31 times, according to Indiana’s website. Indiana owns a 19-12 advantage in the all-time series, having won the last matchup 71-70 in 1998 in Lahainia, Hawaii.
Darian DeVries had previously spoken of an interest in adding onto the program’s existing nonconference schedule, and this appears to be the result of said interest. The Hoosiers will have multiple opportunities for resume-building wins prior to Big Ten play with one home game, one away game and two neutral site matchups.
