title picture for three years in a row now, but it looks as though they’re not quite the finished product just yet.

In addition, Arsenal midfield duo Thomas Partey and Jorginho are out of contract in the summer and could leave the Emirates Stadium.

With that in mind, the Gunners could well look to bring in some more midfielders, along with a number of reinforcements up front.

Now, according to reports, a player who has been compared to Rodri and is inspired by Declan Rice could be available for around £51million this summer.

The player in question is Hugo Larsson, who has been going from strength to strength at Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.

In January, it was reported that Arsenal made 'several enquiries' regarding the availability of Larsson, who joined Eintracht from Malmo in 2023.

It is not certain whether the 20-year-old will stay at Eintracht beyond the summer, even if they were to qualify for the Champions League, according to FussballNews.

However, Arsenal – or perhaps Liverpool or Chelsea – would reportedly have to pay ‘a lot of money’ for Larsson, with his price tag set at €60million (£51million).

Larsson has made a name for himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most exciting young players.

At just 20 years of age, he’s already made 70 competitive appearances for Eintracht, registering seven goals and three assists in the process.

Larsson has also won eight caps for Sweden and has two trophies to his name – the Swedish title and the Swedish cup.

Larsson’s style of play has been compared to that of Manchester City star Rodri, who is considered to be the best holding midfielder in the world.

Larsson himself has previously said his style of play is similar to that of Arsenal star Declan Rice.

"He (Rice) is a similar type of player to me,” he told German media last year. "He aggressively and defensively does a lot of good things, I look up at him."

Football Talent Scout’s Jacek Kulig has described the Sweden international as a ‘box-to-box midfielder with good playmaking skills’.

He is ‘able to produce powerful and dangerous runs up field on the counter-attack’, added Kulig.
