Redwest Music Festival comes with big headliners
SALT LAKE CITY — The Redwest Music Festival returns this October to the Utah State Fairpark, showcasing big-name headliners all three days. Tickets are up for grabs on June 13.
Redwest Music Festival described this year’s lineup as a mix of chart-topping headliners, emerging artists and local favorites, creating a “genre-spanning celebration of country and Americana.”

The festival runs Oct. 10-12 featuring Kacey Musgraves as the opening night headliner. Utah’s own Post Malone will take center stage on the second night, followed by Noah Kahan, closing out the event on Oct. 12.
Danny Bateman, director of the Redwest Music Festival, said the festival focused on building its brand during its inaugural year. The effort paid off, allowing organizers to secure bigger names for this year’s lineup.
“The owner of our festival, Kevin, he was the first person to book Post Malone in Utah when he was doing shows for 100 people, ” said Bateman. “He slowly progressed and now he’s one of the biggest artists on the planet … How can we go wrong with booking Post? I mean he’s local to Utah.”
Bateman said Ella Langlie is another artist who was high on their list.
“Ella Langlie … that was that just goes without saying,” he said “I want to throw her name in there because I think she’s incredible and in my mind, she’s probably the top female artist right now in country.”
Koe Wetzel, Treaty Oak Revival, The Red Clay Strays, Ian Munsick, and Midland are also among the artists scheduled to perform at the festival.
General admission tickets for the event cost $299 and covers all three days, which Bateman thinks is a great deal.
“I mean, there are people buying stadium shows for for $400 to see two artists,” said Bateman “You get to see every single artist on the lineup for three days. I just I don’t think you can beat that especially with this lineup.”
Tickets come with re-entry privileges until 6 p.m.
The cost of GA+ and VIP ticket prices will be released the same day as tickets go on sale, June 13.
“(GA+) That offers a shaded area, some water, better access,” said Bateman. “Then you get up into the VIP tier which has air condition areas. It has private restrooms that are air conditioned, has a fast car access, quick food access. Each stage has its separate pit area so you can go right up basically up you’re within 50 feet of the stage in the VIP areas.”
Tickets go sale Friday, June 13 at 10 a.m.
