Rainy, breezy Saturday; Some afternoon sunshine Sunday

Published 1 month ago1 minute read

After a beautiful finish to the work week we have rain for the weekend… I hate to be the bearer of bad news!

There may be a few hours of drier weather Saturday morning, but by lunch time most folks are see rain! Shower continue through the afternoon and evening, tapering off to some lingering drizzle overnight and into early Sunday morning. Rainfall totals range between 0.5-1.0″ and a touch of mixed precipitation is possible especially in spots above 2500 ft in the Northeast Kingdom and Northern New Hampshire. Ice totals reach a tenth of an inch.

The wind will also be an issue Saturday afternoon and evening, especially for the Champlain Valley. Winds out of the South will gust at times between 40 and 50 mph.

We have a few left over sprinkles early Sunday morning, but dry air begins to work in from the Northwest bringing some afternoon clearing and sunshine!

Have a great weekend!
