Addressing the media on Friday, February 28 in Homa Bay, Odinga expressed disappointment over the government's failure to combat rampant corruption, which he argued continues to undermine public trust and development efforts.
He emphasised that despite widespread complaints, little progress has been made in tackling corruption, which remains deeply entrenched in public institutions.
Odinga was particularly vocal about the alarming rise in abductions and enforced disappearances across the country. He criticised the government for its apparent inaction, stating that despite persistent calls for intervention, several Kenyans remain unaccounted for, with no meaningful investigations or arrests reported.
He also condemned what he described as an emerging culture of intolerance, where citizens are allegedly being denied their constitutional rights to assemble and demonstrate.
"We are witnessing a worrying trend where people are being abducted, detained without trial, and in some cases, killed. This is a serious human rights concern that must be addressed urgently," Odinga stated.
The former Azimio leader also took issue with the government's failure to curb tribalism, which he said continues to hinder national unity and social cohesion. Odinga claimed to have received numerous complaints from Kenyans who reported discrimination in accessing public services based on ethnic backgrounds.
He called on the government to promote equality and inclusivity, stressing that tribalism remains one of the greatest threats to Kenya's stability and progress.

Another major issue Odinga highlighted was the ongoing health crisis, which he attributed to the controversial introduction of the Social Health Authority (SHA).
He argued that the new health scheme has caused widespread disruptions, making it difficult for thousands of Kenyans to access essential medical services.
Odinga noted that many patients were suffering due to the changes brought by SHA, and he called for immediate government action to restore proper healthcare services.
He stressed that the health sector is in dire need of reform, pointing out the growing dissatisfaction among healthcare workers, lecturers, and students alike.
"We need a united front to address the healthcare challenges facing our country. The SHA has not only disrupted service delivery but also left many patients stranded without access to necessary medical attention," Odinga said.
He further noted that the crisis was affecting vulnerable groups the most, particularly those in rural and marginalized communities.
Odinga also slammed the government for its perceived indifference to public outcry over rising living costs and economic hardships. He argued that the administration's policies have failed to provide meaningful relief to struggling Kenyans, leading to increased poverty and social discontent.
He urged President Ruto's government to prioritize policies that would boost economic growth, create employment opportunities, and alleviate poverty.
His remarks come amid his ongoing nationwide consultative tour aimed at gathering public opinions on the challenges facing Kenyans. During his first consultative meeting on Wednesday, February 26, Odinga met with youth leaders, elders, the business community, and other stakeholders to better understand their concerns and aspirations.
This initiative, according to Odinga, is part of his broader political strategy to shape the future direction of his party, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), and to ensure that his political agenda aligns with the needs of ordinary citizens.
Raila's sentiments come amid widespread allegations of a possible coalition with Ruto ahead of the 2027 General Election.
