Public auction of unserviceable items to be held at 10 Bn BSF today
Bishnupur, July 05 2025: In accordance with the disposal policy of unserviceable Government stores, a public auction for various categories of unserviceable items will be held at the 10 Battalion BSF Headquarters, Loktak, Komkeirap, near the NHPC Project, Bishnupur District, Manipur on July 6, 2025 (Sunday) at 10 am.
As per the notice issued by the Office of the Commandant, 10 Bn THQ Loktak, Bishnupur, the auction will include various categories of unserviceable items including Defence Stores, Fire Fighting Equipment (FFE), Tentage, Welfare Stores, Ration PM, Communication Stores, Construction Stores, Ammunition Stores, MT U/S Spare Parts and Batteries, Tarpaulins, TTF, and other miscellaneous items.
It notified interested bidders to register with the Commandant, 10 Bn BSF, at least one hour prior to the commencement of the auction by depositing an earnest money of Rupees 10,000, which is refundable or adjustable against the final auctioned amount.
Bidders are also required to produce their original Aadhaar card, PAN card, and GST number at the time of registration, failing which they will be disqualified from participation.
The notice also mentioned that the auctioned items will be sold to the highest bidder through spot cash payment, and all items will be sold on an "as-is-where-is" basis, without any guarantee or warranty.
Successful bidders must take possession of the auctioned stores immediately after making full payment.
Cheques will not be accepted, and no transportation assistance will be provided by the HQ for removal of the items from BSF premises.
The Commandant reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason.
The auction may be postponed or adjourned without prior notice if necessary.
In the event of a bandh or strike in the state on the scheduled date, the auction will be conducted on the next working day.
GST, if applicable, will be levied on the final auction value as per prevailing rules.
