Promasidor discovers 'Mega Minds' in youths with 2025 Cowbellpedia series

Promasidor Nigeria, makers of Cowbell, has launched the 2025 edition of Cowbellpedia, themed, Mega Mind, meant to promote and reward brilliance among students.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Marketing Director, Promasidor Nigeria, Adebola Williams, said: “Cowbellpedia is more than just a contest; it celebrates young Nigerian talents. Education unlocks potential, and through this platform, we’re not just recognizing brilliance, we’re fuelling it.”

She emphasised the global impact of Cowbellpedia, pointing out that some of the top-performing students from the 2023 Cowbellpedia TV Quiz Show have gone ahead to secure scholarships into prestigious institutions in the US, UK, Qatar, and Nigeria.

“At Cowbell, we’re dedicated to nourishing both body and mind. Our VitaRich formula, and Vitamin B9 (which supports brain development), empower students to hone their skills and strive for excellence”.

Dairy Category Manager, Promasidor Nigeria, Donatus Ukpai, explained that the game has been structured to be in four stages, which include the elimination stage, quarter-final, semi-final and the grand finale.

He said: ‘‘Based on feedback from parents and teachers from the past, we have made some modifications to some aspects of the game show to make it more interesting and exciting.

The company announced about N100m prize rewards in cash and items like laptops, tablets and cowbell products to be won.

The overall winners in both the junior and senior secondary school categories will receive N5 million each with an all-expense-paid educational trip to Kenya. The first runners-up in the junior and senior categories will win N3m each, the 2nd runners-up in junior and senior categories will go home with N2m each, while the 4th positions for both categories will receive N500,000 each.

Winning parents in the junior and senior categories would get N500,000 each, the first runners-up in the junior and senior categories would receive N400,000 each, while the second runners-up in the junior andsenior categories would get N300,000 each.

The contest will be rewarding teachers of the junior and senior categories who come 1st, with N1 million and a laptop each. The first runners-up in the junior and senior categories would get N500,000 each.
