', in which Priyanka Chopra Jonas is set to co-star. Recent reports indicate that the leading actors have begun preparations for the film, participating in workshops in Hyderabad.

As per a report by Pinkvilla, Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have engaged in script-reading sessions and undergone look tests as part of their collaboration. The 'Baywatch' actress's involvement is expected to significantly enhance the film's appeal, marking her return to Indian cinema after several years. The report also suggests that the director and actor had discussed the project for six months before finalizing her.
The actress recently traveled from Toronto to India, where she was spotted seeking blessings at local temples before diving into her work on 'SSMB29'. The film is expected to commence production in April 2025.
'SSMB29' is expected to be a grand two-part adventure film, described as a globe-trotting jungle taking inspiration from the Indiana Jones franchise. The budget of the film is estimated between Rs 900-1000 crores. It is projected that filming will continue until 2026, with releases planned for 2027 and 2028.
This project marks both Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra's first collaboration under Rajamouli's direction. The film is expected to showcase Mahesh Babu in a role inspired by the Hindu mythological god Hanuman, while Priyanka's character is rumoured to involve strong
