Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend's tragic reason for choosing unique baby name
Congratulations are in order for Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas as she has welcomed her second child into the world – but the baby’s arrival is bittersweet for the family.
The London socialite and actress, 36, who dated Prince Harry for two years from 2012 until 2014, welcomed a baby girl into the world a few weeks ago.
Yikes! Here’s how Prince Harry almost broke Meghan’s golden baby name rule

She shared pictures of her new baby and revealed the unique name that she has given her daughter which has a tragic family connection.
She named her daughter Delphina Pandora, after Cressida’s half-sister Pandora, who died of cancer aged 51 in July 2024.

Cressida and Pandora were very close and she revealed there is a ‘twinkle’ in her baby’s eyes that reminds her of her sister.
Cressida shared some adorable black-and-white snaps of her snuggling into her newborn daughter, writing: ‘Delphina Pandora… Our first few weeks with Delphi…
‘Before she arrived, I wondered how it was possible to love anything as much as we love our boy. Then this little love bug showed up with a Mohawk hairdo and our hearts just expanded.

‘Sometimes when I look into her eyes, I see a twinkle that reminds me of my sister Pandora.’
Cressida also shares a two-year-old son, Wilbur, with her husband Harry Wentworth-Stanley, who they welcomed into the world in November 2022.

The model has been open about her fertility struggles in the past and underwent IVF to get pregnant with her first child.
She revealed in her Spectator column in January that the couple had used a frozen embryo they had ‘stored in a freezer’ in order to conceive for the second time.
Cressida wrote: ‘Having conceived through IVF the first time, we were fortunate to have another embryo stored away in a freezer. It is incredible that a tiny cluster of frozen cells, already a life, can survive, suspended in time for years.’
