GLVES has released her second single of the year, ‘Time’, and is premiering the song’s visual accompaniment here on Music Feeds today (May 22nd) ahead of its official release tomorrow. The song was premiered on triple j’s Prism program last night. Following on from February’s ‘Echo’, the Kaurareg singer-songwriter co-wrote the new single with its producer, Rob Amoruso, and worked on the music video with director Rhianna Malezer and choreographer Allirah Fisher.

“Each scene is a fragment,” said GLVES in a statement regarding the clip. “Something remembered, something hoped for, reflecting the quiet courage it takes to meet something fully – whether within yourself or someone else. I’m incredibly proud of what we created.” Maezler, a Butchulla and Kamilaroi woman, expressed her gratitude to the crew assembled to bring the vision of both her and GLVES to life at a preview screening of ‘Time’ earlier this week.

“I’m still so stoked that we got so many incredibly talented people dedicating their time and their passion to this,” she said. “It’s really special to be able to celebrate Michelle [Levings, AKA GLVES] and her incredible song. Her performance [is] incredible in this, as well. She is on fire!”

GLVES will be playing ‘Time’ live as part of her support slot for Githabul/Migunberri-Yugumbeh artist BADASSMUTHA on Sunday, May 25th at It’s Still A Secret in South Brisbane. The show will also feature Georgia Corowa, Keely and Solchild. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
