The most exciting game of round 10 in the Proliga took place in Albufeira. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Vasco da Gama (18-6) to seventh ranked Imortal U23 (10-14)

83-80 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. Imortal U23 outrebounded Vasco da Gama 47-34 including 32 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Imortal U23 made 8 blocks. Point guard Salvador Victo (185-2005, agency: Promo Sport ID) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Center Gustavo Rodrigues (185-2006) chipped in 27 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Victor Nwagbaraocha (190, college: UMSL) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Vasco da Gama's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Imortal U23 maintains seventh position with 10-14 record, which they share with Sampaense. Vasco da Gama at the other side keeps the second place with six games lost. Imortal U23 is looking forward to face Sangalhos (#8) at home in the next round. Vasco da Gama will play against Queluz (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked CAB Madeira (15-9) against fifth ranked Queluz (15-9) on Saturday night. Visiting CAB Madeira was defeated by Queluz in a tough game in Queluz 70-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of CAB Madeira. Worth to mention a great performance of Angolan forward Helder Neto (198-2001) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds. Lashon Lindsey contributed with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward John Korte (198, college: West Liberty) replied with 23 points and 8 rebounds for CAB Madeira. Queluz moved-up to third place, which they share with CAB Madeira and Portimonense. Queluz will play against league's second-placed Vasco da Gama in Porto in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CAB Madeira will play on the road against Illiabum in Ilhavo and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Portimonense will play against the league's leader Braga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Rest of the games of round 10 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Braga defeated Sangalhos in a road game 82-69. Barreirense beat Ginasio at home 83-78. Benfica U23 lost to Sampaense on the opponent's court 71-85. Bottom-ranked Galitos-Aveiro unfortunately lost to Maia Basket in a home game 71-77. Lusitania managed to beat Santo Andre on the road 74-70.
