Portable Apologizes to Saheed Osupa Over Copyright Dispute

Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has released yet another video, this time to plead with King Saheed Osupa after a previous clip where he was seen disrespecting the Fuji music icon. The initial video sparked controversy, with many criticizing Portable's behavior towards his senior colleague. In the new video, Portable sings to appease Osupa, offering an explanation for his earlier actions.
Portable addresses Saheed Osupa as “king” and apologizes for his disrespectful words, admitting he was merely “roaring.” He claims that Osupa has been a source of inspiration to him. He attributes his initial outburst to the influence of a distributor, stating that his livelihood depends on music, which led him to create the first controversial video.
He also lashed out at his critics, telling them to take painkillers to alleviate their pain. Portable reaffirmed his love for his fans and reiterated his respect and admiration for Saheed Osupa, referring to him as both “king” and “father.” This follows an earlier apology video where Portable expressed regret for disrespecting someone older than himself, acknowledging Osupa's seniority and academic achievements, referencing his graduation from the University of Ibadan.
Fans have reacted diversely to Portable's apology video. Some have expressed skepticism, questioning the sincerity of his apology, while others have criticized him for his inconsistent behavior. Some fans also pointed out that Fuji music fans might react differently compared to HipHop fans and that KSO himself might not take the matter lightly because of his fans expectations. There were also comments about Portable's apology being insincere and a means for clout chasing.
The situation has also seemingly affected others close to Portable. News has surfaced that Ashabi Simple, Portable's wife, experienced a rise in blood pressure due to the ordeal. This occurred around the same time Portable was declared wanted by the police for allegedly assaulting some officials.
