Police search for trio who robbed North Sea Tavern in Southampton - Newsday
Police are searching for three suspects involved in an armed robbery early Tuesday at the North Sea Tavern in Southampton.
Southampton Town Police said the robbery took place at 3:30 a.m. at the tavern on North Sea Road when the trio of suspects forced an employee to open a register at gunpoint. They fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
Patrol units, an unmanned aerial team, a K-9 unit and an aviation team from the Suffolk County police all search the area for the suspects and their vehicle but were unable to locate the trio, police said.
