Photos of Wafula Chebukati's Wife Mary, Son at Their Residence after Musalia Mudavadi's Visit
She wore a floral white and black dress which she paired with a blue blazer. Mary was captured shaking hands with Mudavadi.
Her son Emmanuel also shared pleasantries with the politician. He also sat next to his mum while having a conversation with their guests.
Musalia asked Kenyans to respect and support the late Chebukati's family. He also asked them to keep the family in their prayers.
The politician hailed Chebukati as a man of integrity and had a high dedication to democracy. Mudavadi wrote:
"Spent time last evening with Mama Mary Wanyonyi and family, offering my condolences on the passing of former IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati.
Chebukati’s legacy will be remembered by many for his integrity, dedication to democracy, and unwavering service to the nation. I plead with all Kenyans to respect and support the family during this time as they prepare for his final journey on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Let’s keep them in our prayers."

The decor in the late Chebukati's home gave a blend of modern luxury with a homely feel.
The long, flowing curtains were in a muted tone which enhanced the room’s elegance while providing privacy.
The ceiling has recessed lighting, complemented by a stylish hanging light fixture.
In a corner, they had placed the late Chebukati's portrait and a condolence book for the visitors.

In other news, the family of the late Chebukati revealed that he died after suffering from cardiac arrest.
The late chair had brain cancer and had undergone two surgeries.
The family requested privacy to plan for his burial.
