Phillies Get Important Ronald Acuna Jr. Braves News
The Philadelphia Phillies, who have played decent baseball for parts of the year, understand that the National League East will only get more difficult in the coming weeks.
According to a report from David O'Brien of The Athletic, Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. will begin his rehab assignment on Tuesday in North Port, the Florida complex rookie league of the Braves.

"#Braves’ Ronald Acuña Jr. will begin rehab assignment Tuesday at North Port in the Florida Complex Rookie League. He’ll play in the outfield, and they’ll see how he feels after some games there before bumping him up to a higher minor league. Still no specific timetable for return," he wrote.
Acuna, one of the best players in Major League Baseball, has done nothing but play at a high level when he's on the field.

Unfortunately for baseball fans, he's dealt with multiple injuries throughout his career. As a result, the Braves have suffered on the field because of it, sitting at 19-21 overall and 6.5 games behind the first-place New York Mets in the division.

The Phillies are currently five games ahead of the Braves, but with it being May 12, there isn't much of a reason to be checking the standings just yet.
The Braves have proven that if they get into the postseason and are healthy, they could be a team to watch out for. Even when they won a World Series, Acuna wasn't on the field due to a prior knee injury.
While things will get more difficult for the Phillies, this is excellent news for baseball fans.
Acuna is one of the bright stars in the game, and it's always better when he's on the diamond.
