The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Kings (1-1) in Manila on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by Beermen (3-1)

104-93. SM Beermen looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for guard Jaymar Perez (188-1993) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Center June Mar Fajardo (210-1989) contributed with 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jeth Troy Rosario (201-1992) answered with 24 points and 8 rebounds for Ginebra Kings. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Manila: Painters (#7) and Bolts (#4). Painters (2-1) won against visiting Bolts (2-3) 128-116. It was a great evening for center Leonard Santillan (195-1996) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 7 rebounds. Gian Mamuyac helped adding 24 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Kier Quinto (188-1994) with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
Hotshots (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed Masters (1-3) in Pasig City 118-99. It was a quality performance for Zavier Lucero who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Kai Ballungay came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds for Phoenix in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 3: winless TNT Tropang was beaten by NLEX RW on the road 91-74. Terrafirma Dyip was destroyed by Ginebra Kings on its own court 80-101. North Port was outscored by Blackwater in Caloocan City 120-98. Winless TNT Tropang recorded a loss to FiberXers at home 94-100.
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 21 points and 12 rebounds by Justine Baltazar of FiberXers.
