Person hit by car in Montgomery County after trying to pull another car out of ditch during snow storm

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A person was sent to the hospital after they were hit by a car while trying to pull another car out of a ditch on Tuesday night during a snow storm.

The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service responded to 18800 Mink Hollow Road near Ashton Road at around 9:45 p.m., after a pedestrian was struck.

Maryland State Police answer 424 calls for service, 152 crashes during winter storm

Officials said the adult was struck by a car while they were trying to pull another car out of a ditch.

That person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
