Patrick McDowell presented with Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design

Drapers 30 Under 30 alumnus Patrick McDowell was presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design by Catherine, Princess of Wales today (13 May).

at London Fashion Week.

A graduate of Central Saint Martins, McDowell's label is sustainably focused, with pieces available on a made-to-order model. The brand also offers repair and refit services.

Past winners of the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design include Steven Stokey Daley (2024), Foday Dumbuya (2023), Saul Nash (2022), Priya Ahluwalia (2021), Rosh Mahtani (2020), Bethany Williams (2019).

McDowell was part of Drapers 30 Under 30 2023. The British Fashion Council's new CEO Laura Weir also announced Conner Ives as the recipient of the 2025 £150,000 BFC/ Vogue Designer Fashion Fund. Ives featured in Drapers 30 Under 30 class of 2022.
