During his sermon, Kiamah decided to share a message on the recent murder of blogger Albert Ojwang, whose case is still ongoing.

In a video shared on River of God's church (ROG), the man of God noted how police should be a source of calm and security for those in fear.

However, in Kenya, the situation is different, as police come to the house, pick people's children and end up killing them.

He asked where people like Albert Ojwang's father turn after such incidents that devastate their families.

He said his biggest issue was with the police officers sent to pick Ojwang, saying they have a responsibility to interrogate orders.

"Each one of us has a basic minimum to interrogate an instruction before fulfilling it. I'm not in the discipline, but I believe that all of us, with a cognitive mind, have a responsibility to interrogate an instruction and determine whether to fulfil it or not," he said.

Kiamah noted that no magistrate gave a warrant of arrest for Ojwang, adding that the police were rogue officers and Kenya was sliding into a lawless state.

He said the officers who arrested Ojwang should be sentenced to death, because a life should be repaid with another life.

He told the congregants to imagine cops coming into their home, taking their son and bringing him to the city.

"The next time you see him, he's on a cold, steel stretcher, dead and broken. Your son! And there's nothing you can do. Nothing," he said while fighting his tears.

He said when one personalises it, and imagine that the son they are seated with in church goes through that, then it becomes twice as painful.

"Na president wetu ameokoka, nkt!, sorry for clicking," he said while wipping tears.

Here are some of the reactions from Kenyans who saw the video:

Wanjiku Macharia said:

"This is what fuels my rage! WTH is wrong with us! It could have been me, you, your friend! aaaarrrrggghhh May they and their generations pay and be wiped out from the face of the earth!"

Mwai Kadu said:

"Bishop has been consistent in speaking sense to this government."

Wanjira Kibiku said:

"I feel the pain too as a parent. Thank you bishop for standing with the wanaichi. God bless you."

In other news, Albert Ojwang's father, Meshack Opiyo, was allegedly swindled of some of the money meant for his son's burial.

According to the late's uncle, the money mysteriously disappeared from his father's M-Pesa account and the family cannot explain exactly what happened.

The uncle, Polycard Odhiambo, shared the information in a video by YouTuber Clinton Chirangah Shim.

When Meshack went to withdraw the cash, he found that some of his own money, as well as donations from Kenyans, were gone.
