An investigation revealed a customer's signature had been forged on work orders submitted to a repair warranty provider.

, owner of 611 Transmission & Auto Repair in Stroudsburg, PA, is facing charges for allegedly forging documents and conducting unauthorized vehicle repairs, following an investigation by the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, which announced the charges.

The case originated from a November 2024 complaint in which a customer brought a vehicle to Abrahim’s shop for repairs covered under warranty. After more than six weeks, the customer was told that additional repairs, such as an axle replacement, had been made without prior approval and was asked to pay approximately $800 to retrieve the vehicle.

The customer declined, prompting the repair warranty provider to initiate a review, which was soon followed by a formal investigation by the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division.

The DA’s office said investigators discovered that repair work orders submitted to the warranty company contained forged customer signatures. During an interview with law enforcement, Abrahim allegedly admitted to forging the documents himself and acknowledged the customer had not approved the repairs.

Authorities also noted that 611 Transmission has a pattern of similar allegations reported through the Better Business Bureau, including complaints about unauthorized repairs, poor communication and questionable business practices.

Abrahim has been formally charged with forgery. The case is now proceeding through the judicial process. As with all criminal cases, Abrahim is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
