Ulega made these remarks today, June 14, 2025, during a visit by President Samia Suluhu Hassan accompanied by her guest, President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina. While in Dodoma, they inspected the progress of this major road construction, which is anticipated to improve the transportation infrastructure in the region.

Explaining the project, Minister Ulega said the road aims to reduce vehicle congestion in the city center, improve the transportation system for goods and people, and thereby enhance overall travel efficiency. Additionally, the road will serve as a catalyst to stimulate economic growth in Dodoma and its surrounding areas.

Given the significance of the project, Ulega urged all relevant stakeholders to collaborate and ensure the project is completed on time and meets the expected standards. He emphasized that this will contribute to uplifting the economy and improving the livelihoods of residents in Dodoma and neighboring regions.
