OPPO has officially launched its latest smartphone, the OPPO K13x 5G, in India on Monday, June 23. Positioned as the toughest 5G smartphone in its segment, the device boasts an impressive array of durability features. These include SGS Gold Drop certification, adherence to MIL-STD 810H military-grade standards, a 360-degree damage-proof armor body, and IP65 water and dust resistance, aiming to meet the real-world needs of its target audience, particularly Gen Z consumers.

The OPPO K13x 5G is available in three distinct variants to cater to different user requirements. The base model, featuring 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, is priced at Rs 11,999. The mid-tier variant offers 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs 12,999, while the top-end model comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs 14,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting June 27, 2025, from 12 PM onwards, through the OPPO e-store and Flipkart. Consumers have a choice of two elegant color options: Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach.

To sweeten the deal, OPPO is offering attractive launch promotions. On the sale day, customers can avail an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on the 4GB and 6GB variants, and a more substantial Rs 2,000 discount on the 8GB variant, applicable with select bank offers. Additionally, an exchange bonus of Rs 1,000 is available, along with an extra 3 months of no-cost EMI. These offers bring down the effective price of the smartphone to Rs 10,999 for the 4GB variant, Rs 11,999 for the 6GB variant, and Rs 12,999 for the 8GB variant.

Under the hood, the OPPO K13x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, built on a 6nm process. This chipset is designed to offer superior thermal control and AI-assisted power optimization. Complementing the processor is UFS 2.2 storage, and the device also supports microSD cards up to 2TB for expandable storage. Initial testing indicates smooth performance, capable of handling multitasking and casual gaming with ease. The smartphone runs on Android 15 operating system layered with OPPO’s ColorOS 15, featuring native Android 15 capabilities and a clean UI, though it includes some bloatware.

The design of the Oppo K13x is sleek and stylish, available in Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach. The lightweight smartphone features a flat display and a flat rear panel, offering a firm and comfortable grip. Physical buttons like the power button and volume rockers are conveniently placed on the right side. The SIM card tray is on the side, while the USB Type-C charging port, 3.5mm audio jack, and speaker are located at the bottom. The dual rear camera module is neatly arranged horizontally on the top left corner of the rear panel, alongside the LED flash.
