Ohanaeze youths hails Danfulani's appointment

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation has commended the appointment of Yazid Shehu Danfulani as the New Managing Director/CEO of Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC).

Danfulani was on May 22 appointed the head of the federal government Corporation in a letter conveyed to him by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator George Akume.

In a statement by the National President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike described the appointment as a round peg in a round hole.

Okwu commended President Tinubu for the choice, stating that “it is an appointment that is being celebrated by the Nigerian youths based on the competence of Honorable Yazid Shehu Danfulani (Turakin Zamfara).

“Mr President has indeed made a good choice in him and we are certain he is not going to disappoint him as well as the youth constituency.

“Over the years, we have followed his activities closely and observed a marked excellent record of achievement and dedication to achieving set goals.

“As we thank President Bola Tinubu for this appointment, we are certain that Hon Danfulani will take NAIC to a greater level. Indeed the time for the Agency to break barriers and shine in the global map.”

The Igbo group congratulated Danfulani, stressing that the well-deserved appointment “is a testament to his hard work, expertise, and commitment to national development.

“We are optimistic that your tenure will usher in a moment of dynamic transformation and cerebral growth to the NAIC.

“Be assured of the support of the entire Igbo youths and Nigerian youths in general as you take on this national assignment.”

He expressed hope that the Danfulani is coming on board with the needed ideas to drive the agricultural corporation towards food sufficiency in the country.
