He celebrated it as a great feat, thanking all who made it possible for him to write his examination amidst challenges.

Okanga affectionately mentioned his wife, whom he thanked for supporting his education cause.

"I’m also deeply grateful to my loving wife, Emelda Okanga, for her unwavering support. Above all, I thank God for His faithfulness," he said.

He also recognised politicians and other players who contributed in their different ways to helping him get his first-ever academic certificate.

"I’m deeply grateful to God for this milestone, finally receiving my KCPE certificate. Special thanks to our incoming Kakamega Women Rep, Beth Tamba, Incoming Butula MP, Chief Bernard, my brother George Natembeya, and Baba Raila Odinga for the unwavering support. Your presence and encouragement mean the world to me. God has truly been good!" he said.
