The former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, known as Jandor, has said he and his team will do all to ensure that President Bola Tinubu wins a second term.

Jandor made this promise on Friday in Ojo, Lagos while addressing his supporters at a rally to publicly declare his return to the All Progressives Congress (APC), adding that Tinubu will reposition Nigeria if he decides to contest for a second term in 2027.

He stated that Tinubu’s re-election is unstoppable due to his people-oriented reforms and recent defections from other political parties into the APC.

According to Jandor, the results from Tinubu’s administration made him return to the APC, saying that the president is determined to ensure the best for Nigerians.

“Removal of fuel subsidy makes Tinubu a selfless President because he would have ordinarily allowed the status quo to remain to secure second term in office,” he said.

“That is why we are going to do everything humanly possible to make sure we work for his re-election.

“Our priority is to ensure that we see to how this man will return in 2027 to further reposition the country.”

Jandor who contested the Lagos State governorship election on the PDP platform in 2023 announced his defection from the party on March 3, returning to the APC.
