Nigerians deserve patriotic leaders, not political jobbers

He made the disclosure at the Adanimogo Jesus City, Lekki/Epe Expressway, Lagos, during an encounter with journalists.
Olu-Alo, who is also the founder of Adanimogo FM Nigeria, stated that appointments into public offices should be based on merits, and not on sentiments or as compensations for politics and loyalty.
He urged President Bola Tinubu to appoint into his cabinet, technocrats and people of proven integrity that are ready to transform Nigeria into a country that the citizens can be proud of.
The cleric contended that many Nigerians were yet to feel the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda two years into the Tinubu administration, especially with the rising insecurity and the economic deficit.
His words: “We want patriotic and righteous leaders that can come up with lasting solutions to the various challenges of this country. Looking back at our political trajectory, we have suffered in the past, but we deserve a better approach to governance now. We need leaders that are very serious and pragmatic in their approach, not political jobbers.”
In his remarks, Prophet Asonibare Odunayo, urged Nigerian youth to be more responsible and shun acts that could lead to their sudden death.
