A new photography workshop in Lancashire will blend high fashion with the countryside.

Taking place this summer, the event will be held around Pendle Hill and will explore editorial photography through a rural lens.

The free workshop, titled Hill & High Fashion, will be led by fashion photographer and director Quinn Lovero and will take place on Saturday, July 19.

Mr Lovero is known for his work with brands such as Adidas and Air Jordan.

Simon Cronshaw of Pendle Hill Museum CIC said: "The Work/Life exhibition explores how Pendle Hill has been a popular leisure destination for many generations of workers, and this photography workshop brings us right up to date to capture what rural leisure looks like today.

"Normally, images of Pendle Hill are all about capturing its stunning landscape.

"This workshop instead turns the lens onto its people, and the many ways in which we enjoy the countryside today."

Participants will be invited to reinterpret countryside life through a high-fashion editorial approach, capturing contemporary 'postcards' that combine style with storytelling.

The workshop is part of the Pendle Hill Museum’s first exhibition, Work/Life, which launches in autumn 2025 and is funded by Historic England’s Everyday Heritage programme.

Delivered by Clitheroe-based media arts company Sairo, the project will explore the intersection of fashion, culture, and rural heritage.

In collaboration with Lancashire brand LANX, models will wear regional fashion products to highlight the blend of local craftsmanship and editorial style.

Images created during the workshop will form part of the upcoming museum exhibition.

Photographers and models interested in taking part can find more information on the Pendle Hill Museum website: www.pendlehillmuseum.org/workshop.
